Are you huggy with him?

If someone is huggy, that means they like to give hugs or hug people often. Similarly, to kiss a lot, especially in public, means to be kissy. Notice the following:

1. He is really huggy with his friends.
2. I don't like it when people are all huggy in public.

flirtatious

I am sometimes flirtatious with people I like.

When someone flirts with another person, they use touch, body language or facial expressions to show they are interested in the person. A flirtatious gesture could be as simple as touching someone on the arm or listening very attentively. Here are some examples:

1. I tend to be flirtatious at parties.
2. She wishes her boyfriend was more flirtatious.

body language

I use my body language to flirt with people.

Body language is communication using one's body without words. For example, crossing one's arms can show that a person is upset or bored. Rolling the eyes can show disbelief, etc. Notice the following:

1. Body language is very important in an interview.
2. I could tell he was upset by his body language alone.

have the guts

I don't have the guts to make the first move.

To have guts means to have courage to do something. If you do not have the guts for something, that means you are afraid of failure or the outcome. Notice the following:

1. I didn't have the guts to watch that movie. It looked to scary.
2. She didn't have the guts to try out for the school play.

get to know

I would have to get to know them first.

When you get to know someone, you learn what they like and how they act on a daily basis. You often know what makes them happy or angry and how they like to spend their time. Below are a few examples:

1. It takes awhile to get to know someone.
2. I didn't really get to know your mother until after our marriage.
