City Tips Around Town

You are new to a city. Listen to six things you can do for fun.

Here are my recommendations for my city.

First of all, I recommend you go the park. We have a central park downtown and the great thing about the park is it's really big and really wide with lots of open space. There's a really big lush green lawn and you can play sports on it, or if you want to be in the shade, you can lie under one of the really big trees in the center of the park. It's a great place to hang out.

Also, if you and to get coffee and hang out and talk with your friends, we have some really good cafes. Now the best things about the cafes in my city, is that they're not too crowded. Often the cafes are outside, but there's plenty of space to walk around. It's not like those cafes in some cities, where the tables are really crowded and you can't walk around. In my city, it's not like that at all.

Also, you got to go shopping. You got to go shopping. We all love shopping, but please remember, sizes are different in each country. What is big in my country, maybe is small in your country. A size that is small in my country, might be big in your country. You never know. So, if you happen to buy anything, especially clothes, please try it on before you buy it, because if you buy it and you don't try it on, and you take it home and it doesn't fit, well, there's not much you can do.

Now, if you want to drink, and you're over 21 - you must be 21 - then I suggest you try some nice wine. We have many vineyards near my city, and the wine is fantastic. Of course, you could have beer, or maybe a cocktail, but you know, you can get that anywhere, so basically while you're here, I don't recommend the beer or the cocktails.

And that brings us to food. OK, now, you're thinking American city: meat and potatoes, right? Wrong! We actually have Asian food. We got Chinese food. We got Japanese food. We got Thai food. We got Korean food. We got it all. So, if you come to America, don't just come here for meat and potatoes and apple pie. There's more to it than that.

Now, if you like music. My city is a great place for you. We have lots of really small intimate concerts. Lots of little clubs where you can hear local musicians. It's really quaint and nice. I recommend it. Of course, you know, we have, you know, the big concert halls and the big rock concerts, but, you know what, that's the same in any city, so I really don't recommend it.

That's it. That's the advice for my city. Hope you like it and it does you well.
